We had a fun Tuesday! We learned about the different parts of an apple and then the children made their own and labeled the parts of an apple, which came out too cute. Ms. Emily hung them with the children's Johnny Appleseed from yesterday. I took pictures but didn't have a chance to post them. Let me explain why...
After I left work I had to go get an ultrasound of my throat. Let me back up... Last week I went to an orthopedic doctor because I have been having problems with my hip. I found out that I have tendonist, which the doctor let me know is very uncommon for someone my age...leave it to me. During this visit the doctor noticed that my thyroid is enlarged and insisted that I see a doctor for it. In order for me to keep the appointment made for next week I had to go have an ultrasound done. I didn't find out the results today, which is killing me. I know that this time next week I will finally know why I have a fat neck. :) part of me is freaking out about this and is why I'm putting this on here, just to type it helps. I cross my fingers that next Tuesdays appointment ends fine.
To end on a good note, I'm super excited about the fun things I planned for the children this week and next. I love our apple and farm unit. How can you not be excited with making applesauce, an apple festival, and Snap the goat coming to visit.
Don't forget to sign up if you would like to donate an item for our Apple Festival on Friday. It's going to be fun!
Just want to take the opportunity to say thanks to all my amazing parents! I have enjoyed getting to know your children and love getting to spend everyday with them.
Okay enough of all my random thoughts!
