I wanted to share with everyone about our annual Fall Farm Festival that we have at our place, Maple Grove Farm. It's this Saturday, October 26 from 10:00- 2:00. Admission is $10 per person and for the children admission includes a t-shirt and a pumpkin. The activities include a petting farm, hayride, moon bounce, zip-line, playground, face painting, pumpkin patch/decorating, gamers with prizes, DJ, rock wall, and concessions.
100% of the proceeds benefit the Paul A. McDaniel Foundation for organ donation and stroke awareness. Paul was my husband's younger brother. On September 14, 2008 Paul, 22, passed away due to several massive strokes in both hemispheres of his brain. He passed on the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. He saved 4 lives and gave up to 80 people a chance for a higher quality of life. We have had the pleasure and honor to meet and spend time with Paul's heart recipient, read the article here.
