Yesterday we discussed Fireman and watched a video about a day in the life of a Fireman. Then the children made an adorable Fireman.

Today Mrs. Schmitz did a lesson with the children about being a bully.

A Camping We Will Go...

This week we started our fun unit on night/day and camping. On Monday we discussed that God made the sun, moon, and stars and said it was good. We also sorted things that we do during the day and at night.

On Tuesday we talked about going camping and looked at different ways to go camping. Finally we graphed if we had every been.

We also made adorable happy campers.

Yesterday we discussed items we would need to go camping and made campers in sleeping bags.

Today we listened to the story How to Hug a Porcupine and made a porcupine using toothpicks.

5 Senses

Yesterday we started our discussion on our 5 Senses. We completed an activity on the Smart Board where we had to match pictures with the correct senses,  labeled the 5 senses, and played an I Spy game. To wrap up our carpet time we watched a short video on how important our senses are with the world around us.
