Christmas Jobs

Here is a peek at the jobs that the children completed this week...

For this job the children had to pick a present, id the number, and put that many bows on it. 

At this job the children had to roll a die, count the dots, and place that many pom poms on the Christmas tree. 

Upon on the Housetop- For this job the children had to id the number on the house and count out that many blocks to make a chimney.

Christmas Week

We have had a fun week learning about the Christmas story.

On Wednesday we learned about Angels. We talked about the Angels in the Christmas story and in the Bible. Then the children made these beautiful Angels. 

Yesterday we made a J for Jesus. The children glued white paper to make stripes for a candy cane. Then we made Jesus in a manger. 

We are all excited to sing Christmas songs in front of our parents today!

Yesterday we started off our week of learning about Christmas by reading the story Christmas in the Barn. 

Then the children made Jesus in a manager. 

Winter Animal Wrap Up

Here is what the children did for jobs last week:

For this job the children picked a penguin, identified the number and counted that many fish. 

Color the Penguin- At this job the children had to use the key to see what color to color the numbers. 

Penguin matching- For this job the children had to match upper and lower case letters. 

Winter People- Here the children made these adorable winter people.

On Tuesday we learned about polar bears and watched many videos on You Tube.

Wednesday we went to a Christmas Musical and watched the Kindergarten-2 grade sing many songs. 

Today we learned about penguins by reading a book. Then the children made an adorable penguin.

We are excited about the Christmas Bazaar tomorrow. Don't forget to wear Christmas socks. 

This Week

We started off this week by seeing a performance of The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe. 

The children enjoyed getting to see this!

Jobs

At this job the children had to pick a tree, count the stickers, find the number and trace it. 

Candy Cane Patterns- For this job the children practiced copying patterns. 

Catch that Christmas Tree- At this job the children picked a tree with a letter on it and had to find it on their sheet. 

We also made these tissue paper Christmas Trees. 

 We talked about what weather looks like and learned about different seasons. 

The children also made reindeer for our door. 

 Then one the other side of the door I made a reindeer stable.
