Baa Baa Black Sheep

I have been a little behind posting this week and I'm sorry about that. With me being out Tuesday to get the last biopsy don't on my throat, it has thrown this week off for me.

On Tuesday Ms. Emily read the nursery rhyme Baa Baa Black Sheep. Then the children water colored a sky and grass on white paper. I found an amazing sheep craft from HERE. We mixed black paint, water, and dish washing soap in a bowl. Then Ms. Emily blew into the bowl with a straw to create bubbles. The children put their sheep's wool over the bowl to create a bubble cloud effect on the wool.

The final result:
I LOVE them!!!

Bullentin Board

This month we had to come up with a Thanksgiving themed idea for one of the bulletin boards in the school. I found an adorable turkey craft from Pinterest and Ms. Emily got everything ready for the children to put it together.
Our 4K Turkeys are thankful for...

Humpty Dumpty

On Monday we listened to nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty on the Smart Board. Then we  talked about rhyming words and brainstormed some.
Finally we made our own Humpty Dumpty.

Creepy Crawling Spiders

Today we finished our week by talking about spiders. We watched a video from You Tube and listened to a song from National Geographic.

Then we made our own creepy crawling spider.

Happy Halloween

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween and a great All Saint's Day.

My little superman had a blast trick or treating!

Halloween Party

We all had a blast at our Halloween Party on Wednesday. The children decorated pumpkins and cookies, painted, played a bucket toss and a bean bag toss game.
Thanks to everyone who helped!
Here are a few pictures:

Killing Time

While Ms. Emily and Ms. Brooke set up for our Halloween Party that children played a math game on the Smart board. They had to roll a die, count the dots and place that many objects on the board.
