4k is "snow" much fun!

Ms. Emily and I just finished decorating the bulletin board in our classroom and it turned out too cute!

Hot Chocolate

After everyone enjoyed their hot chocolate we graphed if we liked hot chocolate or not, 12 children said yes and 4 said no. I love when we graph because the children start cheering for what they want to "win".

Then we completed a hot chocolate craft!!!

Winter Day and 2013 Birthday Celebration

The children had a blast wearing their pjs. It was fun to see how excited the children got to show their friends their pjs. They were even more excited when they had the same pjs as a friend.

Then for snack we had hot chocolate, rice Krispy treats and cookies from Cecilia. Yummmmmm

Ringing in the New Year...

Yesterday we made a craft to ring in the New Year. The children cut out a phone pattern and told me what they want to do this year. They came out really cute!

Reminder

Please remember tomorrow is our winter day and 2013 celebration. Please have your child wear his/her pj's to school and bring his/her birthday cake project.

 

We will have hot chocolate and a special yummy snack.

More weather...

Today we read Bear Gets Dressed and talked about what type of clothes we need for certain types of weather.

 

 

 

Then we talked about what each type of weather looks like and illustrated it.

 



We are back!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I'm working on getting back in the swing of things.

 

We had a great fist day back and everyone was happy to see each other.

 

This week we are talking about different types of weather, meteorologist, and tools used to measure the weather. Yesterday we learned about the different types of weather with the Smart Board.

 

 

 Then we played a weather memory game.

 

 

Then we learned about a meteorologist and watched one on the Smart Board.
